This is an original Memento Collage , for this piece I used over 20 different vintage boom boxes to fill in most of the background of this image as they are synonymous with the group. As well as tons of other hidden beastie boys related things.The groups name appears multiple times throughout the piece as well as the original Grand Royal logo and the skills to pay the bills artwork. I chose this image of the Beastie Boys because it was taken in their prime directly after the release of their hit album “Licensed to Ill”. Together the Beastie Boys went on to become one of the most influential rap groups of all time and for the people in the Northeast like me they are nothing less than rap royalty. R.I.P MCA
